A LOUIS XV GILTWOOD CONSOLE TABLE , 19TH CENTURY . CIRCA 1840

A Louis XV Giltwood Console Table, 19th Century. Circa 1840

The green Verde Antico, moulded, serpentine shaped marble top above a symmetrical pierced foliate and acanthus-carved frieze, with flower heads and a central cartouche, flanked by Vitrunian scrolls and foliate sprays.
On conforming C-scrolled hipped cabriole legs, headed with flower heads, joined by a conforming Vitruvian scrolled, foliate carved stretcher centred by a foliage and a central urn, terminating on scrolled feet.

H: 95cm,  W:150cm,  D: 65cm.
