The shaped rectangular plate within a pierced mirrored surround carved ornately and decorated with foliate leaves, rose garlands and rocaille, all around its frame, surmounted by a pierced C-scroll cartouche, decorated with beautiful foliage, the apron with a C-scrolled rose bouquet, on scrolled corner supports. Provençial works of the 18th century, Southern France. Circa 1720
