An 18th Century Louis XV Period, Giltwood Provincial Mirror. Circa 1745

The square shaped plate within a pierced green painted surround carved ornately and decorated with leaves, rose garlands and rocaille, all around its frame, surmounted by a pierced C-scroll cartouche centred by bouquet, decorated with beautiful foliage and flowers, the apron centred with a rocaille , on scrolled supports. Provençial works of the 18th century, Southern France. Circa 1745
