A 19th Century Louis XV Oak ‘Lit Du Jour’. Day-bed. Circa 1860
Each end with S-scrolled shaped carving, with escargot scrolled ends, over a chaneled serpentine apron with scrolls, flanked by padded side rails, raised on 6 cabriolet legs, terminating with escargot scrolled feet. Upholstered in a salmon and cream silk damask fabric.
