An 18th Century French, Louis XVI Period, Duchesse Brisse. Circa 1775

The cream lacquered, shaped Bregere and footstool, with C-scrolled chanelling, within moulded serpentine shaped back and seat-rail. The shaped armrest with vitruvian scrolled supports, above 8 tapering fluted and chaneled legs, on toupie feet. Headed by flowerheads and foliate pendants upholstered in a blue silk velvet fabric.
