Louis Xv Ormolu, Mounted Boulle, Marquetry Clock Garniture
The waisted case with scrolling foliate mounts decorated with tortoise shell and fine foliate brass inlay, the top surmounted by pierced foliate scrolls, foliate scroll mounts to edges and surrounding the aperture to base, pierced foliage to side panels, the the gilt-bronze dial inset with Roman enamel hour plaques and blued-steel hands, the twin barrel movement with rectangular plates and strike on bell, Apollo mask pendulum. The pair of two branch candelabra, with scrolling foliate bronze mounts decorated with tortoise shell and fine foliate brass inlay.
